A little about me.

I’m Vasilike “Vicki” Kades, a Los Angeles based travel advisor and the founder of Katsiki Travel Design.

I’ve always loved to travel, but somewhere along the way I realized I may actually love planning the trip even more than taking it.

I’m naturally very detail oriented and love researching hotels, flights, destinations, restaurants, excursions, and all the little pieces that make a trip come together. I especially enjoy custom travel planning, hotel reservations, family and group travel, special occasion travel, and more complex itineraries where there are a lot of moving parts to coordinate.

I’m also someone who likes finding the best overall value, not necessarily the cheapest option, but the option that feels most worth it.

One of my favorite parts of travel planning is figuring out the logistics that can make a trip complicated, whether that means coordinating multiple travelers, transportation, accessibility needs, activities, dining, or creating an itinerary that actually flows well.

Travel Style...
My own travel style is a mix of relaxation and discovery. I’m happiest by a beautiful beach or great pool with a piña colada in hand, a spa appointment on the calendar, and a little time for shopping. My husband and son, on the other hand, love museums, cultural experiences, and learning something new on every trip, so I’ve become very good at planning vacations that balance both.

I love traveling with friends and family, laughing together, and creating shared memories. No matter the destination or budget, I always look for the best value. I’m willing to spend high or low where it makes sense, as long as the experience truly feels worth it.
